STEM Racing for Schools brings the world's largest STEM motorsport challenge, supported by Formula 1, straight to your classroom. Our team visits your school, introduces students to designing, engineering and racing a scale Formula 1 car, and helps you form teams ready to compete.
The Road to Singapore
Four stages from first visit to the international grid.
Stage 1
Book a Visit
Your school books a date for the STEM Racing team to visit.
Stage 2
Checkpoints
Teams register and progress through design and build checkpoints.
Stage 3
Competition
Teams race their cars at the national competition.
Stage 4
Singapore
The top 2 teams go to the international competition in Singapore.
Prizes
Prizes are unlocked once 20 or more schools register.
School Prize
Full Manufacturing Room
A complete manufacturing room for the winning school, sponsored by SACGC.
Team Prize
USD 5,000 Cash
A cash prize for the winning team, shared between the mentor and team members.
Terms & Conditions
- Visits are open to schools in the State of Kuwait. Each school may book one visit.
- Visit slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be double-booked.
- Each registered school receives a unique School Code and a QR code, which must be presented to the STEM Racing team on the day of the visit.
- Team registration is available only after the school visit, via a link shared by STEM Racing staff.
- Each team must have 5–6 students, and at least 80% of team members must be Kuwaiti nationals.
- Every team must be supervised by a teacher mentor from the registered school.
- Prizes are activated only if 20 or more schools register. SACGC reserves the right to amend the program schedule.
